The sooner, the better, especially if you have your heart set on a particular season or date.
That said, don’t count yourself out if your plans are coming together quickly.
I’ve helped couples pull together incredible days in as little as two weeks.
If I’m available, we’ll make it happen.
How far in advance should we book?
Good.
It probably means you’re learning more about yourselves or giving yourselves permission to admit what you actually want.
I’d be much more concerned if you never questioned anything.

Sometimes it’s as simple as enjoying your morning coffee on an enclosed porch.
If your perfect day is wandering through a mountain town, taking a scenic drive, reading your vows by a lake, and finishing with dinner at a cozy restaurant, let’s do that.
If you love hiking, amazing.
If you don’t, we won’t pretend you do.

When should we reach out?
I’ve never met a couple who walked up to me and said,
“We’re amazing in front of the camera.”
…Okay, I have.
They were models. 😂
Almost everyone feels awkward for the first few minutes.
The key to being comfortable in front of the camera is trusting the person behind it.
My job isn’t to judge you or expect you to know what you’re doing.
It’s to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves, even if that means laughing because something feels a little goofy at first.
The goal isn’t to become models.
It’s to become comfortable enough to stop thinking about the camera and actually live your day.
What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?
Absolutely.
An elopement doesn’t have to mean just the two of you.
Some couples invite parents for the ceremony.
Others spend part of the day with family, then head off for a private adventure.
Some bring their dog.
Some bring nobody.
There’s no one way to do it.
